Before we start the requested surveillance, we confirm the current address and occupants of that address; vehicles associated with the claimant and his or her associates/roommates/family members; we review the subjects’ social media and public records that can determine any outside employment or side hustles as possible sources of income and/or previous undisclosed injuries. We compile a list of registered boats, snowmobiles or ATVs and can use this information to determine if they are involved in any outdoor activities like fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, sking, etc. or if they have a second lake home or cabin. We also determine if the person plays any team sports. With this important discovery investigation, we examine it for pertinence before surveillance is scheduled.  Then as expert field investigators that are skilled in the art of discrete surveillance and generation of potential leads, we conduct surveillance and keep our clients well informed on our findings and recommendations going forward. The quality of evidence we present often helps claims adjusters, legal professionals, medical providers and/or judges make an informed decision on the validity of that claim.

Professional Video Editing:  As a general rule, we prefer not to send our clients raw surveillance footage.  Evidentiary Services are professional video editors and we take raw HD surveillance footage and condense it into an abbreviated storyline with character generation, and video that is representative of the original footage.  This is an important process because it provides an end product that is professionally prepared and can be shown to all claim professionals that make decisions on the claim, as well as a medical provider or a judge at a hearing. Our professionally prepared video of evidence holds up in court, and gets to the point immediately, eliminating unnecessary footage to show what activity was observed and the location it was taken.  Both the activity and the location are vital pieces of evidence necessary for any case. Nobody wants the tedious task of poring through hours of original raw video surveillance footage to find the evidence they are looking for. The truth is, no-one should have to, and that is why we are skilled video editors who do it for you. Once we have pored through every inch of the raw surveillance footage, we put together a well-prepared, edited, condensed version that gets right to the point of the case and works so much better. This is the version that will hold up in court, and be a vital piece of information for any case. A judge is going to have much more patience for a condensed form of the video than having to constantly go through raw footage that is not always as clear as it could be.
